PWIMS
Read for the Cause
The birth of Project Walk in My Shoes (PWIMS) was a direct derivative of the book entitled, "Walk In My Shoes, Things Happen To The Best Of Us." Recently author Destry Dokes completed a book entitled, "Walk in my Shoes, things happen to the best of us" which he dedicated to all of those who were directly or indirectly affected by Hurricane Katrina. It's also dedicated to those who are addressing other Life Katrinas which he labels as relational and financial challenges, life threatening cancers and other health related issues. It is the authors hope that "Walk In My Shoes" will assist in healing the emotional trauma that we face in this roller coaster life.
PWIMS was established to bring awareness through a literary format to address the many challenges that we face in our daily lives. The objective of this project is to disseminate encouraging and motivational information to those facing life challenges in an attempt of providing a ray of hope.
